An access lift & steps combined

Installing a wheelchair lift for split levels is not always possible adjacent to the steps when space is at a premium. The Flexstep Compact is the perfect solution. It’s the most space-saving lift on the market and at the same time it offers a design to satisfy even the most fastidious user.

The new version of the Flexstep is now available with an increased capacity of 400kg (150kg more than the current unit) It has a number of upgrades including a stronger barrier, an improved auto ramp system and a cable free installation.

History v wheelchair access

Maintaining heritage buildings such as museums, cathedrals, churches and libraries also requires the additional task of providing wheelchair access that doesn’tย  look out of place or add a ‘carbuncle’ to historical buildings.

This task has been made easier with the introduction of wheelchair lifts which are either hidden when not in use or blend unobtrusively into their surroundings.

Here are some illustrations. Click on the image to go the lift’s web page:-
